We had a ball!

Notts County Football in the Community are a brilliant charity that deliver an impressive number of different projects across Nottinghamshire. We were thrilled when Tim Hatton asked Next Door Dance to be part of their special evening and to perform at their annual charity gala.

We got to work straight away on creating a bespoke version of our show The Beautiful Game. We interviewed ex-players Les Brads, Brian Stubbs and Ian Richardson who gave us brilliant accounts of their golden moments and glorious goals at Meadow Lane.

Colin Slater, Notts County FC's official commentator put together a 'spoof goal' for us, featuring past and present players working together to create a show-stopping goal.

The evening itself was fantastic. A raffle and silent auction helped to almost £6,000 for the charity. There were also excellent performances from local talent such as Rob Green and Yazmin Lacey.

We loved every moment of our performance; with an audience of 300 people we were happy to entertain with our energetic and witty response to Notts County FC's fans and players.
