The Beautiful Game is back on the road!
We have just finished the first part of our first rural tour with Live and Local, bringing ‘The Beautiful game’ to communities all over the Midlands. So far we have visited 3 lovely village halls; Heanor in Derbyshire, Pailton in Warwickshire and Wymeswold in Leicestershire. We battled through rain (lots of rain) and the cold to get the show to the village halls, but we had a ball! It was great to meet and chat to so many new people and hear all the lovely feedback about the show. During the week we welcomed Cara who was on work experience as part of her degree, she was fab! We really loved transforming village halls into a football themed haven. Our fan zone was in full swing before and after the show, with lots of fun activities such as table football, a photo booth, Subbuteo, snap, face painting and many more footie themed activities.
Thank you to all of the promoters for making us feel so welcome in your venues and looking after us so marvellously, including feeding us yummy jacket potatoes, lots of biscuits and making copious amounts of tea!
We can’t wait for the next part of the tour in March!
