We deliver a weekly open session that is designed to give young dancers the opportunity to develop their contemporary dance technique. The sessions are open to anyone between the ages of 11-18 and take place in FABRIC's brand new, beautiful studios close to the centre of Nottingham. Delivered by a company member, these dynamic sessions will help you to build strength, stamina and coordination with a particular focus on floor work and finding fluidity when moving. Challenging everyone on an individual level, this session is perfect for anyone looking to develop their contemporary dance technique. Come along and have a go, no experience of contemporary dance necessary.

Our Youth company has been postponed! We will be back creating work as soon as we can run our sessions normally.
For those young dancers that are especially interested in performing and creating choreography, our youth company is a great opportunity. We work in partnership with FABRIC's Centre for advanced training (https://fabric.dance/centre-for-advanced-training/) to provide high level contemporary dance training for young people in Nottinghamshire. We work towards performances, supporting the group to create original choreography. In the past we have been selected to represent the Midlands at the National Youth Dance Festival. Previous students have successfully gained places at the UK's best higher education establishments for dance.
